GMK Model is a product inspiration of Late Dr. Satinderpal Tayal and late Dr. (Mrs) Kamlesh Tayal, eminent educationasits, Dr. Satinderpal Tayal remained associated with this profession for more than 40 Years and thereafter served many Engg. Colleges / Universities in the capacity of Director Principle / DEAN. Dr. S.P Tayal is referred to as a highest qualified Mech. Engineer in “Asia’s Who’s who” and held this status since 1982. Dr. (Mrs) Kamlesh Tayal served Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana for almost 31 Years and expired on 29.04.2016. Even during the last stage of life Dr. (Mrs) Kamlesh Tayal was severely bed - ridden, always had been a source of inspirations for masses and for the upliftment of common man through simplification of procedures & processes. She was an active trustee of Bharat Swabhiman Nyas.”

GATS Money Kendra

GATS Money Kendra(s) GATS Money Kendra(s) are meant for the front-end delivery points for GATS India Ltd to provide the services to rural citizens of Punjab. The idea is to develop a platform that can enable GMKO to integrate the social and commercial services for the benefit of rural population.

Structure of GMK

GMK Service Centre (GMKSC): The GMKSC would be the prime driver of the GMK eco-systems. The GMKSC would be the controller of the GMKO network in predefined areas of operations in the state. The GMKSC would undertake activities such as identifying the required applications and services, harnessing the network, identify and training the GMKO, establishing the GMK (either directly or through the GMKO), supplying, aggregating and updating content and services and so on. The GMKSC would be supported by the GATS and the respective GMK Mobile Service Team to implement the GMK Scheme.

GATS: At HO level to facilitate implementation as well as provide policy guidelines from time to time, GATS to citizens (G2C) services, and disbursement of financial/revenue support to the GMKSCs

Responsibilities of the GMKO

GMK Owner (GMKO)GMK Owner (GMKO) is the first and the foremost part for the effective service delivery to the customers/members. The GMKO will provide all the GATS products to Customers (G2C) and Business to Customer (B2C) services to customers/members, which are required by them.

Sales and Promotion: The GMKO will be actively involved in the sales process of the products and services given to him by using all his skills and social relationship.

Feedback: It is the GMKOs responsibility to provide feedback at a regular interval to the GATS.

The GMKO will ensure, without any prejudice, to provide all services to the customers/members.
